Land Use
Sullivan City’s existing land use pattern has residential neighborhoods scattered throughout the City. Commercial areas are mostly found along U.S. Highway 83. The Highway serves as a main corridor for commercial traffic through the City.
New growth in Sullivan City increases the demand for community facilities and services such as sewer, water, and utility lines.
The City’s sewer project has just been completed with 100% of residing households now having this service in their homes.
The new state of the art Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at the corner of Guadalupe Flores Rd and Wesley Rd, has now been completed and has connectivity available to residential/commercial land owners.
The City maintains a working relationship with Agua SUD, providing the Citizens of Sullivan with water services and a reduction in noise, odor, and air
pollution
